Dr. Rob Weber, Pastor

IMG_7251Rob Weber is a native of Atlanta, Georgia and has lived in multiple regions of the U.S. as well as in Germany and England. On the way to becoming a pastor, he has worked in a wide variety of settings, including construction, cooking, waiting tables, and counseling. This diversity of experience gives him a specific passion for people who are not involved in the church, an understanding of their needs, and a fresh, humorous, down-to-earth style of communicating.

Rob has become familiar to churches in the United States and Canada as the teacher in the video based discipleship formation series Beginnings. Other works include ReConnecting, ReConnecting Worship, Visual Leadership, and Igniting Worship: Communion. He is the founding pastor of Grace Community United Methodist Church in Shreveport, Louisiana, has served as Director of Congregational Development & Transformation in the Louisiana Conference, and is a frequent speaker and teacher at churches and conferences across the United States and abroad.

Jennifer Green, Ministries Coordinator

IMG_7256Jennifer Green serves as Ministries Coordinator of New Life Community Church. She is originally from Mansfield, Louisiana and graduated from the University of New Orleans with a BA in Elementary Education. Jennifer provides support and direction to theĀ operations and administrative functions of the church, as well as implementation of ministries that foster Christian community through building relationships with people that strengthen their commitment to the church and growth in faith in Jesus Christ with a focus on children’s and youth ministries and community outreach. She is a Local Church Lay Servant in the United Methodist Church, and also volunteers her time as the church pianist.

Kathe Deroche, Nursery Attendant

IMG_7254Kathe Deroche serves as Nursery AttendantĀ at New Life Community Church. Supported by a host of volunteers, Mrs. Kathe makes sure infants, toddlers, and young children feel welcome, nurtured, and loved while in the nursery. She is usually in the rocking chair reading a book to a child, or on the floor playing with blocks… the children love her and we do too!
